Campaigns

One of the primary roles of the Community Education and Health Promotion Unit is to provide timely, accurate and relevant information and education to Canberra's community on all matters relating to HIV/AIDS, including transmission of HIV.

A number of campaigns and projects are initiated each year by the AIDS Action Council in an effort to eliminate the spread of the virus, and to increase the quality of life for people infected and affected by the HIV virus.

In the development of these campaigns, the AIDS Action Council is guided by a number of considerations for HIV/AIDS related campaigns.
