Community support services

The primary role of the Support Services Unit is to provide high quality care and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS, their partners and their families, at the Council premises, in their homes and in other community settings.

In addition, to the extent that resources allow, some services of the Unit may support, through counselling, people at risk of acquiring HIV, people with sexuality issues and with other needs, as prioritised by the Board.
