To be able to access the service you will need a letter from your treating S100 medical practitioner stating that:
- They will be of benefit to you
- They are aware you are taking them under their guidance
- Possible interactions with other medications you may be on have been investigated.
The letter should also include the vitamins required. Please note that this letter will be kept on file and is valid for six months.
Cost
Centrelink Concession Card Holders accessing the service are able to purchase through the AAC, vitamins to the value of $50.00 per month free of charge and pay a $5 dispensing fee.
All other HIV positive people who are wishing to access the vitamin service are able to purchase vitamins at 50% of cost price to a maximum of $100 per month.eg maximum for month to $100 sale price - cost to you $50.00

Vitamins not carried as one of our basic lines will be purchased for the individual once a local supplier is located.
