Following on from the fifth Health in Difference Conference in Melbourne in 2005, conference organisers are pleased to announce that the sixth biennial national Health in Difference Conference will be held in Brisbane in 2007.
Venue: Rydges, South Bank.
Date: Thursday and Friday 14 and 15th of June 2007, in conjunction with Brisbane Pride celebrations.
Health in Difference 2007 is about diversity and a commitment to the wellbeing of all individuals within the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) communities. The conference aims to provide a forum that is stimulating, safe and supportive and where all aspects of the health within our communities can be explored. Health in Difference 2007 is about acquiring new knowledge, perspectives and skills; developing networks and having fun.
Organisers are pleased to be calling for expressions of interest from both presenters and participants and will be welcoming national and international delegates to the beautiful city of Brisbane.
