SpringOut Fairday 2007

SpringOut Fairday is Canberra's GLBTI community day. The community comes out to play in the grounds of the AIDS Action Council (Westlund House) this Saturday for the annual Spring Out Fair Day.

Date: 10 am to 3pm Saturday 17 November, 2007.

Venue: The grounds of Westlund House (map), Gordon Street, Acton (near the Film and Sound Archive and opposite the Academy of Science Dome).

SpringOut Fairday is an event of the SpringOut festival, held throughout November.

The annual Fairday is a marvellous day out for the whole family, bring your kids, bring your pets. Sunshine, great stalls, beautiful people, relaxed atmosphere. What could be more pleasant for a Saturday in Spring?

Fairday 2007 will include a drag king show, performances by the Andi and George Band and the Canberra Gay and Lesbian Qwire, and back for another year - the ever popular Pet Parade!

Pet Parade

Registration for the pet parade opening at 12.30pm. Pet Parade judging will take place at approximately 1.45pm.
