SpringOut Fairday 2008

SpringOut Fairday is Canberra's GLBTI community day. The community comes out to play in the grounds of the AIDS Action Council (Westlund House) this Saturday for the annual Spring Out Fair Day.

Date: 10 am to 3pm Saturday 1 November, 2008.

Venue: The grounds of Westlund House (map), Gordon Street, Acton (near the Film and Sound Archive and opposite the Academy of Science Dome).

SpringOut Fairday is an event of the SpringOut festival, held throughout November.

The annual Fairday is a marvellous day out for the whole family, bring your kids, bring your pets. Sunshine, great stalls, beautiful people, relaxed atmosphere. What could be more pleasant for a Saturday in Spring?

Fairday 2008 will include a drag king and queens, performances by local artists and the Canberra Gay and Lesbian Qwire, a fancy hat competition and - back for another year - the ever popular Pet Parade!
