The global focus for World AIDS Day 2004 is women, girls and HIV/AIDS, and the national theme for Australia is "HIV and AIDS affects women too."
Each year the AIDS Action Council of the ACT holds a number of awareness raising events. This year's events include:

A collection of HIV/AIDS and ACT UP campaign materials, spanning over twenty years. The collection will be on display from 4 December until 23 January.

Reflections by Kenn Basham

Kenn Basham introduces items from the remarkable collection of the AIDS Action Council of the ACT and provides insights into protest, social justice and twenty years of HIV positive life.
