Awareness raising stalls

AIDS Action Council stallEvery year the AIDS Action Council has stalls around the ACT selling red ribbons and raising awareness in the community about HIV around the world.

Keep an eye out for your nearest stall and donate generously. All money raised at these stalls is donated to the Trevor Daly Fund, which helps HIV positive people in financial stress.

As well as raising money the stalls aim to raise awareness in the community of the global and local impact of HIV/AIDS.

Ribbons and other awareness products will be available.

Red ribbons

Red RibbonWe encourage everyone to wear a red ribbon to show their awareness of HIV/AIDS and their support of people living with HIV/AIDS. Red ribbons are available from the AIDS Action Council, and supporting businesses for a suggested donation of $2 each.

If you have or know of a business that is willing to display a Red Ribbon Box or want to arrange a Red Ribbon morning or afternoon tea at your workplace during AIDS Awareness Week please contact Megan Munro on megan.munro@aidsaction.org.au or 6257 2855.
