Also known as the head job, the blow job, giving head, cock sucking, face fucking, fellatio, irrumation.
Oral sex and the sex worker
Most sex workers provide oral sex as a standard part of their service. This is because:
- Clients love it. They look forward to the sex worker giving them a head job especially when they don’t get this treat at home.
- It is an easy service to give and when practiced safely, ie using a condom, presents no risk and is not that much effort for the sex worker.
Types of oral sex
Oral sex is so versatile. You can give/receive it dressed or undressed, standing up, sitting down, in bed, on the couch watching television, under the shower, in the car, at the beach or even doing the dishes – the list can just keep getting longer.
Techniques
Though it’s often called a “blow job” the basic technique involves sucking rather than blowing. After applying the condom, gently suck your client’s penis while sliding your mouth and lips up and down the length of the shaft. Remember to breathe through your nose and curl your lips over your teeth to avoid scratching or grazing his dick.
Some more things to try:
- Sucking just around the head of the cock;
- Wank him with your hand while you suck or lick the head of his cock;
- Suck him while you have some warm tea or ice cubes in your mouth;
- Apply whipped cream to his cock and lick it off;
- While you have his cock in your mouth try humming, the vibrations can give the client a pleasant, shivery sensation;
- Don’t forget to fondle the scrotum as this is a turn-on for many men.
How to avoid gagging
Sometimes the client’s cock hits the back of your throat or blocks off your breathing and makes you gag. Here are some basic ways to avoid gagging:
- Try to relax as you are more likely to gag when you are tense;
- Wrap your hand around the base of your client’s cock, near his pubic hair, while you are giving him head. This allows you to control how much dick is going into your mouth;
- Control the thrusting – move your head up and down the client’s cock rather than letting him push it down your throat;
- Breathe regularly and in time with the thrusting – breathe in through your nose when he slides in and out when he slides out. If he is thrusting too fast for that, try regular breaths e.g. one breath in for three thrusts and one breathe out for three thrusts.
Some client’s dicks are just too big to get in your mouth to start with but you can still give them head by licking, sucking and gently nibbling the shaft.
Deep throat
For your own comfort and your client’s enjoyment (and don’t forget the extra dollars and business you can generate), you may want to consider deep-throat.
This means sliding the client’s cock part-way down the back of your throat.
Deep-throat takes practice – without practice your throat will close up and you will gag. This is the body’s natural way of stopping objects going down your throat into your lungs.
Here are some tips for learning deep throat:
- Relax, relax, relax;
- Lie face up on the bed with your head hanging over the edge. This opens your throat and straightens it out to fit your client’s cock better;
- Make sure you put plenty of (flavored) lubricant on his cock;
- Take the cock down your throat to the point right before you feel like gagging and then take it out again. Repeat this exercise, taking a little more cock down your throat each time. This will help you overcome your gag reflex;
- Tell the owner of your experimental cock not to move while you are getting used to this;
- Hold your breath while you have his cock down your throat otherwise you will gag, cough, splutter, etc;
- Once you have the hang of deep throating, try to swallow or gulp repeatedly. This contracts the muscles in the throat and puts pressure on the head of the cock.
Unprotected oral
Unfortunately there appears to be more and more of this type of service being asked for, and in some cases provided. Some clients even assume that “bare-back blow jobs” or BBBJ are standard practice amongst workers. Don’t be fooled or pressured by a client insisting he can get a BBBJ elsewhere and most other workers provide it – it’s just not true!!
You don’t want to lose business and who couldn’t use the extra money but there are some important factors to consider if a sex worker is thinking about the pros and cons of offering unprotected oral sex (BBBJ).
- Many sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can result from unprotected oral sex, even without ejaculation;
- If you provide unprotected oral sex you (and your client) are breaking the law; See Part 3, Section 27 of the ACT Prostitution Act 1992.
Sometimes it can be difficult, especially for new and inexperienced workers, to stand up to pressure from clients. If you are being pressured to do something you don’t want to do, tell the client you have to duck outside for a tick and get out of there. Discuss what’s happening with a friend or more experienced worker. Sometimes just getting out of the room for a couple of minutes can help you sort things out. Remember, it’s your body and your business and you are in control of what services you do or don’t offer.
